I believe, the key to all great achievements and revolutions lies in team efforts and the power of a collective vision to strive for higher ideals. Malala Yousafzai, the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate and activist for education, aptly puts it: "We cannot all succeed if half of us are held back."
I must thank and acknowledge the team efforts of all those associated with the Digitalya Mission of the Galway Foundation to script a huge saga of success in providing computer education to the less advantaged communities through voluntary efforts. Digitalya owes all the milestones it has achieved and will continue to achieve to its team of diligent expert trainers, volunteers, support staff and well-wishers who are driven by the power of knowledge, creativity, and passion to perform, deliver, help & contribute, and above all, the aspiration to grow together. I am delighted to place on record my immense sense of appreciation for this wonderfully supportive team that has always stood by us in our efforts to take the light of digital literacy to the far-flung areas of the country.
Digitalya is a unique digital empowerment initiative that enables a person to know and learn in order to be self-reliant and help others achieve the same goal. I would also like to acknowledge that in undertaking the Digitalya program, Glaze Trading India has been inspired by the Digital India initiative of our beloved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. We are, thus, making our humble contribution to his efforts at unleashing digital revolution in the country.
We are disseminating mass computer education through extensive training programs across the country. Apart from our well-established digital lab in New Delhi, we have opened several computer training labs in cities such as Bhubaneswar, Patna, Guwahati, Lucknow, Nagpur, Indore with many more to be added to this growing list.
The team Digitalya has been working with a missionary zeal to digitally empower millions of our countrymen as it feels inspired with the vision of self-reliance as articulated by former President of India
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam: "Kya Hum Yah Nahi Jante Ki Atma Samman Atma Nirbharta Ke Sath Aata Hai."
Each of us can help India achieve this atma nirbharta (self-reliance) and one day stand in the league of developed nations by gaining & spreading knowledge. We all know- "Knowledge is always constructed, not transferred."
We are very happy that with the grace of Almighty God, we are able to organise regular training programs, changing lives of millions of people, thus becoming a voluntary contributor to Digital India mission. I feel privileged to be a part of such a great Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, helping establish a knowledge-based society.
I would like to sign off with the following golden words:
With lots of love + respect
